Candid is seeking an experienced brand marketer highly-skilled at project management. This position requires a person with the ability to tackle whatever is thrown their direction, and see it through to completion. The scope of these projects will primarily include, though are not limited to, the following: 1) product marketing, 2) community management, 3) brand tone & voice development, and 4) third party relationship management. You will want to take ownership of of these various tasks, ensuring the right resources are gathered and managed to drive (and track) outcomes in as timely and efficient a manner as possible. You are always on the lookout for ways to optimize processes - taking the initiative to build new programs and find innovative solutions to help the business continually improve. This role will report directly to our Head of Growth.
What You’ll Do
Product Marketing
  • Partner with the design team to drive product marketing strategy for the website, landing pages, and mobile apps
  • Own Candid’s content strategy across the blog, video, and other channels with an eye toward SEO
  • Work with product and expansion teams to roll out geographic launches Candid Studios around the country
Community Management
  • Direct the social media team and manage our presence both proactively and reactively across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other channels
  • Help direct influencer marketing 
  • Own all metrics related to reputation management across all channels  
Brand tone and voice
  • Conduct customer interviews and create segmentation analyses to provide critical insights on brand tone and direction
  • Partner with design to implement new voice and creative experiments and permanent changes
  • Curate Candid’s brand decisions across each and every
  • Project manage all creative requests from design and third party agencies
Third Party Management
  • Manage the relationship and results for national PR agency as as well as local contractors
  • On an interim basis, oversee Corporate Social Responsibility programs including our partnership with Smile Train
What You’ll Need
  • Phenomenal project management and structure creation abilities with tried and true philosophies on how to juggle, organize, and execute on ten projects simultaneously 
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in either product or brand marketing (huge + for consumer-facing businesses)
  • 2+ years of successfully managing and growing direct reports
  • 2+ years of managing third party vendors including PR and advertising agencies
  • Passion for brand building and experience with content creation (video and text)
  • Demonstrated track record of driving results in community management across social media and review platforms (Yelp, Google, Instagram, Facebook, etc) 
  • Understanding of performance marketing, specifically as it relates to creative development, segmentation, and SEO
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Top 10 percentile customer empathy
