About the Position 
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting department. The Staff Accountant will provide a variety of accounting functions, including but not limited to: (i) accounts payable; (ii) general ledger reconciliations; (iii) book keeping for financial reporting and (iv) balancing treasury reports. This individual should be self-driven, organized and possess the ability to maintain a daily accounting and treasury process.  We are looking for a fun, energized individual who wants to contribute in a team environment.   

Responsibilities

  • Timely record and pay bills
  • Maintain both vendor and marketplace accounts payable and vendor profiles
  • Timely record and pay bills
  • Daily cash journal entries
  • Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts to the subledger
  • Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
  • Enforce employee reimbursement programs, including the travel and entertainment policy
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field (GPA 3.0 or above)
  • Strong technical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment
  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
