About your role:

This position is a full time operational and financial staff position, that reports directly to the company Controller.

If you are an accounting professional with excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong experience and skills in the area of finance & accounting, we are looking for you.

Manage the accuracy and productivity of daily accounting activities
Manage the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Prepare and review account reconciliations
Assist with cash management
Assist with recording of international transactions
Assist with rolling out foreign entity reporting package
Assist with standardization of foreign entity accounting procedures
Create, update and maintain policies
Ensure tax (including sales tax, property tax, SF payroll tax, GST) filings, payments, and business registrations are current
Assist with banking management as well as monthly reporting to lenders and investors
As our business becomes more complex, research accounting guidelines to ensure that our accounting is compliant
Ad Hoc projects and reporting as required
You are…

5+ yearsas an Accounting Manager in a small high-tech company
BS, Accounting
International experience required
Proven management skills
Strong financial reporting and accounting skills
Ability to see the big picture and anticipate business issues
A hard-working, creative, proactive, self-starter that is results oriented and dependable
Must be detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Netsuite and Concur preferred
Clear capacity to succeed
Previous financial experience
Outstanding PC skills
Clear understanding of financial/accounting software
International accounting experience, consolidations and foreign exchange
High energy, high commitment
Team player
Direct, open and honest
Personal and professional maturity
Good balance of ability to establish needed structure with flexible, fast-moving think-on-feet, hands-on operating style

Previous Media Industry experience preferred
