Satellite Data Analytics - Business Development Executive at Spire

The challenge of identifying opportunities, structuring deals, and bringing thought leadership in a business development role at Spire also means conversations on some of the world’s hot topics - climate adaptation, changing energy usage, location accuracy, and more. This is a role for someone who thinks big while adhering to discipline around target verticals and credible pipeline. We need someone who loves finding deals in new areas and can work autonomously to do it.

Responsibilities of your role:

Identify companies and people who need Spire data analytics products in assigned verticals
Sell standardized products and structure more complex, solution-oriented offerings
Commit to performance targets
Work with Spire's technical team on demonstrations and trials
Self-direct outreach efforts and urgency towards closing
Develop intimate market knowledge, price understanding, and business model certainty that can inform a standardized sales org rollout

Qualifications / Experience:

7-10 years experience in a sales or business development role focused on large corporate B2B
Knowledge of data products and business models
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take ownership
Willingness to develop industry expertise
