The Computational Imaging (CI) Team welcomes innovative engineers who want to implement their inventions in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This is a unique opportunity to translate state-of-the-art research into consumer applications by developing the core algorithms for camera calibration, camera pose estimation, multi-view stereo, scene segmentation and scene understanding.     

what you will do...

    • Develop real-time multi-view camera image acquisition and processing techniques
    • Develop geometric calibration methods and multi-view stereo algorithms
    • Develop perception algorithms for object detection, tracking, and classification
    • Design effective and efficient feature detection methods to assist with online localization
    • Design computer vision systems that are robust to changes in lighting and weather conditions

what you bring to Light...

    • MSc (with industry experience) or PhD in Computer Science, or a related field
    • Excellent C++ programming and software design skills to support high performance perception
    • Experience developing real-time, GPU-accelerated computer vision algorithms
    • Expertise with machine learning algorithms and training them from large data sets
    • Experience with embedded Linux and real-time systems
    • Experience with Tensorflow, PyTorch, Theano and deep learning pipelines
