The Imaging Systems Group is responsible for all optics, sensor, ISP tuning, and testing. As an Image Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the camera image quality. Creative thinking and a keen eye towards image quality are key factors to success in this role.

what you will do...

      • Execute tests for validation of camera features and image quality.
      • Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs found through objective and subjective image quality testing in both the real world and lab environment.
      • Process a dataset of images with latest updates and look for image quality issues.
      • Identify image quality issues and communicate the issues with the engineering team.
      • Perform internal and external benchmarking.
 

what you bring to Light...

    • MINIMUM 1+ years experience as an Image Quality Engineer on consumer-facing hardware/software products.
    • Knowledge of image quality metrics and evaluation.
    • Strong understanding and passionate about photography and cameras.
    • Strong knowledge of Aperture, Photoshop, Lightroom and similar applications
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • BS in Engineering or related photographic field
