About the team:
Zopa is growing from strength to strength at the moment as we scale up our peer-to-peer platform and build new financial products as part of the Zopa Bank launch. The recruitment team are at the heart of this exciting growth as we play the important role of bringing in more great talent to help us reach our goals of being the best place for money.
Our in-house recruitment team sits as part of our HR function. We are a close team and although each recruiter has responsibility for their own business areas of Zopa our work crosses over all the time so we work in a highly collaborative way.
We are really imbedded into the Zopa culture and each recruiter focuses on a different business area so we make sure we really get to know the people and businesses we are recruiting for and develop strong market knowledge within that space, working in total collaboration with our hiring managers.
We are creative and love to share ideas or try new things. We enjoy working together on wider recruitment team processes and projects. If you’ve got some new thinking, we want to hear it!
We use a range of recruiter tools to attract and engage with talent and organise a range of events to help build out our employer brand.
The recruiters are supported by a coordinator that helps set up all our interviews and supports our onboarding process by coordinating contracts. 
What will you be doing here at Zopa?
This role reports into the Head of Talent & Development. You’ll be responsible for owning all recruitment activity across our product space. This is one of the most exciting areas of Zopa as it’s where a lot of our innovation happens and where our next generation banking products are being developed.
Recruiting for our tribes and squads you’ll be recruiting for a variety of digital, commercial and technical product roles across these multi-functional teams with a focus on recruiting digital talent which includes (but definitely not limited to) user experience (UX) designers, app developers, product designers/managers/analysts, technical business analysts. We have Zopians based in both Barcelona and London so recruitment will span both locations. 

This is a blended role of both hands-on recruitment and strategic thinking about recruitment planning and processes and includes;

      • Hiring briefs with managers and consulting on recruitment strategy
      • Full 360 recruitment process; combination of direct resourcing as well as agency management, phone screening, interview management, offer management
      • Maintaining our candidate management system /ATS
      • Management Information; headcount planning and budgeting, recruitment performance reports, market trend insight
      • Running annual graduate recruitment programme
      • Feeding into any employer brand projects and content and social media activity
      • Zopa Ambassador at recruitment events 
Partnering closely with our internal stakeholders is key and we are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in our products and the digital world and who wants to get under the skin of the teams they are working with to help identify the right people to join Zopa. You’ll be working closely with our senior Exco members such as our Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer as well as our Tribe and Squad Leads.
This is more than just a day to day recruitment role. We’re constantly looking to improve our recruitment experience for our hiring managers as well as candidates so you’ll be someone who wants to help us be even better and help us discover new and creative ways of finding new Zopians.
