The role:
 
First and foremost, you will own the development of our collections and recoveries MI. Good SQL skills will be critical! You will need to summarise the key insights from the MI in to monthly reporting packs for multiple audiences, including the executive committee. Investing in our MI will be critical to pull out the insights that can drive strategic change.
 
Using these insights, and working with the broader team, you will drive new initiatives and strategy changes to improve collections performance. You will A/B test any changes to strategy so we can be sure of the impact.
 
You will need to work with our product tribes to understand how other initiatives / policy changes around the business might impact collections. You will need to work closely with our in-house collections team and third parties to ensure that intent is being implemented successfully
 
You will support our operations teams by building forecast models for volumes, and producing MI for operations team managers.

You will:

      • Have a lot of experience with SQL and Excel
      • Used data visualisation tools such as Tableau
      • You might have used SAS or Python in previous roles (not mandatory)
      • Ideally you will have worked in collections previously, or at least performed an analytical role in a consumer credit company
