About Cypress.ioWeb development has advanced in leaps and bounds in the last decade, but front-end testing has not. Testing sucks. It’s the part that every developer dreads.
It’s often harder to write a passing test than an actual feature.
We want to spend our time building cool things, and we need tools that match how we build modern applications.
Therefore we built a revolutionary new testing tool from the ground up. We have created a product that we love and actually use ourselves.
Our team is highly experienced and passionate about solving problems. We’re lucky enough to have some of the best minds in the industry.
Being open source, Cypress is evolving faster and better than if we worked on it alone.
Now developers can ship their software faster and more consistently, with confidence.
We believe testing needs a lot of love, and we are here to foster a tool, a service, and a community that can teach and benefit everyone.
At Cypress, we’re on a mission to build an essential testing platform that makes automated testing delightful and effective. Cypress provides better, faster, and more reliable testing for anything that runs in a browser. Hundreds of thousands of developers and QA professionals use Cypress.io to write better code faster and release with confidence.
Cypress is currently used in over 90 countries by hundreds of thousands of developers across more than 12,000 organizations. Cypress has over 1,200 customers in more than 50 countries across 45 industries and includes marquee names like Atlassian, Crunchbase, GitHub, PayPal,and Slack.
The company was founded in 2015 and has raised $55M in capital to date, including a $40M Series B financing in November 2020, led by OpenView Partners, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, Sapphire Ventures and Stripes.co.
As Product Marketers at Cypress, we aim to be experts on how software engineers, QA professionals, and DevOps engineers at various types of companies approach test automation and how Cypress’s testing platform can help them accomplish their goals. Product Marketing works closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Developer Experience (DX) teams to develop and refine our positioning and messaging, introduce new products and features, develop content, gather and share competitive intelligence, and ensure all marketing adheres to core messaging.
